Dr John Clayton
John works as a manager in an emerging technology centre in New Zealand
- 10 years curriculum design experience in the design and development of e-materials, monitoring quality of e-learning courses and providing staff development for e-learning.
- 5 years as project manager for several New Zealand government funded open source e-learning research projects, including the development and evaluation of open sources systems for the tertiary sector and industry training organisations.
- 5 years tertiary teaching experience in the areas of technology policy and planning and staff development activities for e-Learning implementation
- 10 years high school teaching experience
- 3 years membership of Ministry of Education New Zealand Tertiary e-Learning Reference Group for providing strategic advice in the development of NZ's e-learning framework
Andrea Hall
Andrea works as an Educational Designer in Oman where she has lived since 1990. She has:
- 5 years experience in designing and facilitating E-learning professional development courses, providing consulting for custom development of courses, and facilitating software workshops for faculty at Sultan Qaboos University
- 10 years experience developing and teaching biomedical science courses for Omani tertiary students
- 4 years work in establishing and running an institute for teaching appropriate biomedical science to ESL Pacific Island adult students
- 4 e-learning platforms experience as designer, student, or tutor including - Moodle, WebCT, Janison Toolbox and Blackboard
Faisal Ali Al-Balushi
Faisal lives in his home country of Oman and works as an Instruction Designer and e-learning specialist
Experience with Gulf region education and higher education system
- 4 years experience in designing and developing e-learning materials, providing consulting for faculty in the development of e-learning courses, conducting workshops (e-learning, instruction design, e-assessment, and integrating technology into the classroom.
- 4 years experience as Administrator of Moodle, and WebCT/Blackboard, and experience with educational technology and e-assessment software; and customising the Sultan Qaboos University E-learning Management System.

Brett Hall
Brett works as a Systems Architect in Oman where he has lived since 1990. He has:
- 30 years experience in IT
- 8 years experience in web-based transaction processing systems
- 10 years experience with student information systems at university level
His specialty is system architecture and integration of e-learning with other information systems in the organisation
